Job Description

This position will support Oticon's industry leading growth through the cultivation of relationships with key partners and other WDH Companies. The primary responsibility is to support the growth of hearing instrument revenue with assigned strategic partners through the Independent Sales Team. Through the delivery of best-in-class customer experience, the SRM will serve as the advocate for partners to the internal sales organization, as well as externally to the partner on behalf of Oticon, in order to firmly secure our position as Manufacturer of choice.

  • Consultative selling, enterprise and value program selling, business strategy 
  • Own the success of roughly 3-5 partnership key relationships and a number of smaller partners
  • Deliver desired Service Levels based on customer segmentation approach:
  • Assist in target setting, Goal tracking, analytics, communication, driving accountability
    • Contract management
    • Serve as subject matter expert for our partners assigned to you
  • You are an Internal resource focused on educating staff about partner, programs, ways of working, etc.
      • Issue resolution & escalation, troubleshooting, etc.
      • Interface externally throughout all levels of partner staff to advance Oticon as partner of choice
  •  Deliver Best-in-Class Customer Experience
    • Develop and/or improve key processes to ensure ease of doing business with Oticon
    • Drive and support product introductions and unique materials required for partners (Private Label, Punch-out Systems, etc.)
    • Ensure timely payment to partners and partner members (reimbursements, rebates, etc.) based on contracts
  • Support in Tool Creation & Maintenance
    • Partner overviews & sell sheets
    • Price sheets
    • Partner dashboards
    • Partner contacts
    • Training modules for LMS
  • Support Internal Communication
    • Resource for field and inside teams regarding partners and programs
    • Develop and deliver regular communications such as newsletters or quarterly updates
  • Ownership of External Partner Communication
    • Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly communication in accordance with segmentation approach
    • Quarterly Business Review creation, support, and follow-up
    • Support Key Initiatives with Partners which includes, Finance opportunities
    • Targeting new accounts for incremental business
  • Competitive Intel
    • Gather and curate information related to competitive landscape in partner channels (Competitors, pricing, programs, etc.)
  • Promotion management
    • Generate ideas for promotions
    • Coordinate with partners
    • Analyze results
  • Support budget management with regards to partners events, training and promotions
  • Support Management Team with various initiatives
  • Ability to travel 40-50%

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years industry experience (preferred)
  • 3-5 years in client facing role such as sales or key account management, presentation skills, deep knowledge of business tools (PPT, Excel, etc.)
