DGS Denmark is a company within the William Demant group which are responsible for supply chain activities supporting the market brands.

New Product Introduction is part of DGS Denmark and responsible for the introduction of new products into the supply chain. The main stakeholders for this group are the colleagues in Research and Development, production and distribution.

The job

As project manager for New Product Introduction (NPI), you are offered to be part of our NPI project management team. We are responsible for bringing new products into the volume production. Representing the entire supply chain, NPI project managers are involved from project definition to release for sales and distribution. We work under the regulatory requirements of ISO13485/FDA/MDSAP-regulations where we are responsible for the design transfer process.

You may familiarize yourself with our product portfolio at the webpages of Oticon, Oticon Medical, Bernafon and Sonic. The product portfolio is complex - being products based on proprietary IC-, hardware and firmware platforms supported by software products. Our products are distributed into a global network of sales companies, government institutions and global distributor chains.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Manage projects and stakeholders
  • Ensuring that the products are ready for manufacturing and are ready for the products at time of launch (Upstream R&D centers are situated in Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Nice. Downstream Central Production hub is placed in Poland)

A certain amount of travelling (20-25 days/year) will be necessary.

What we are looking for

  • You hold a B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Engineering or similar, e.g. supply chain
  • You have project management experience from complex– running from project definition to hand-over. PMI certification is a plus
  • Experience with combined hardware and/or software products, postponed versioning and software-controlled product diversification is a plus
  • You work effortlessly in English

To succeed you have been managing a cross-functional project for at min. 5 years. You have experience with Supply Chain from an ISO-certified company, ideally a medical device company. You can manage complex projects within a complex stakeholder landscape.
