Job Description

We are searching for a technically proficient and responsible individual to join our IT support team. This individual will provide technical and operational support to our local and remote users. While also helping in managing, configuring, and supporting our local IT infrastructure.  This is an ideal working environment for a self-motivated individual who enjoys challenges and providing user support.

  • Respond to daily user requests/issues/assignments and document progress and resolution within the company service request ticketing and tracking system.
  • Support/troubleshoot Windows-based laptops, workstation, and related systems.
  • Assist in the configuration of PC machines and infrastructure equipment
  • Help maintain remote offices, including network and phone systems
  • Assist local and remote locations with proprietary software packages and programs
  • Complete necessary and accurate documentation of work performed
  • Inventory Management and IT related logistics

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Associates degree in an IT related program or four years of equivalent work experience supporting desktop computers in a business environment
  • Strong working knowledge of operating systems in a networked environment
  • Experience with commonly used business applications
  • Effective problem solving & critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
  • Up to 30% travel (Domestic-USA)

Physical & Visual Acuity Requirements

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
  • Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
  • Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
  • Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
  • Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
  • Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
  • Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
  • Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
