We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a part time Regional Human Resource Business Partner position in the Houston area.

Job Description:
  The Regional HR Business Partner (RHRBP) will primarily partner with HR leaders, executives, and management staff on organizational and workforce planning, staff development, change management, employee engagement, HR services and communications that support Harbor Healthcare System’s mission, vision, and strategic plan. The RHRBP will support multiple client groups, functions and/or locations; will facilitate the delivery of HR programs and services to support the business objectives in partnership with HR leadership, HR subject matter experts and staff. Additionally, the incumbent will support HR functions in multiple locations across several states and perform related duties as required. The incumbent must be willing to travel.  

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field highly desired; Master's degree preferred.
  • Seven years of HR experience, with an emphasis in an employee/labor relations or HR business partner capacity.
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment law, Human Resources policies and practices and governmental licensing requirements.
  • If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible Harbor driver.
  • Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.
  • Ability to pass a background clearance check and pre-employment drug test screen.
  • May be required to have TB Testing and Physical Exam (if applicable).
  • Low to moderate level of overnight travel can be expected.
  • Requires prior experience in advising/educating managers with respect to employee relations issues and HR related laws, regulations and practices.
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
