Job Description

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the IT position in the Beaumont area.

Primary Tasks
 
  • Responds to service requests either desk side, remotely or over the phone.  Escalates to next level support when necessary
  • Actively seeks timely resolution to end user problems, interfaces with third party vendors when necessary
  • Create and administer Active directory and Exchange server user accounts and permissions
  • Performs employee moves, transfers and new hire deployments
  • Documents problems as well as correction procedures
  • Creates, maintains, and updates company knowledge base articles
  • Supports Windows XP Pro through Windows 7 Desktop and Laptops (physical and virtual), as well as mobile devices (Blackberry, Droid, Apple)
Secondary Tasks
  • Assists with administration of network servers, switches, routers and firewalls
  • Assists with support of IP PBX's
  • Assists with nightly backups

Skills
  • Trouble shooting and logical problem solving skills
  • Ability to resolve basic to advanced hardware, software and connectivity problems
  • Experience with data and voice cabling
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, Exchange 2010, Sharepoint, Microsoft Server 2003-2008r2, Windows XP - 8, SQL Server 2008, Office 2007-2010, terminal services
  • Familiarity with VPN, LAN, and WAN troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with virtualization technology
  • Experience with network printers/scanners
