The team

William Demant Group have over the last years established a global operating model across the value chain. We are working in a unique organizational setup where business representatives and IT professionals from all over the World are working closely together in a Global Program. Through this Program, we are defining, implementing and supporting the solution based on Dynamics AX 2012 R3 – combined with a number of other modern applications

You are offered to be part of the Global Solution Support team, anchored in our ATLAS Global Business Excellence organization. The Danish part of the team is located at our Headquarters in Copenhagen area. You will have broad interface to own colleagues in the global support, solution architects, business consultants, AX developers, business management and other relevant functions from all over the World.

The role

As Dynamics AX Application Service Manager you will guide our stakeholders in utilizing best practice solutions. You will be the trusted colleague and solution advisor for our business stakeholders. In your role, you will be facilitating complex problem solving with the goal of enhancing and ensuring the right use of the business application platforms and processes.

You will primarily work within Dynamics AX 2012 Sales, Logistics, Procurement and Operations, but you will also have multiple opportunities for exposure to processes and solutions within other functional areas, e.g. Finance, CRM, Business Intelligence, eCommerce

You will be focusing on solution usability by putting yourself in the users place – or in the place of our customers. You are able to generate new ideas and provide a good user experience.

Importantly, you need to be able to understand and document user requirement including integration needs cross AX and several legacy systems, Dynamics CRM as well as other 3rd party solutions (i.e. transportation management, banking, reporting)

You are able to discuss and design business processes across the system landscape and contribute to an ongoing streamlining of our methods and processes. You play an active role in user training and knowledge sharing across the ATLAS program within own areas of expertise.

Your profile
We expect you to have an educational background as a M.Sc. in Economics, Supply Chain or similar. In addition, your work experience has given you a substantial understanding of business processes across the entire value chain.

What we are looking for?

You can either be, as follows:
 

  • Experienced within Dynamics AX 2012 Consultant with 5+ years of experience. You have been working as an AX Application Implementation Consultant
  • A Support Consultant ready to move into an Application Service Manager role
  • Alternatively, you are a Dynamics AX 2012 solution consultant or architect looking for new challenges.

Regardless of your background, you have operated in an international environment and through this experienced how various business functions can gain benefit from using Dynamics AX.

You are a person who takes initiative on your own and can solve issues on the spot but when needed you can get the right people on board in a spirit of let’s do it together.

As a person, you are easy going and able to communicate easily with colleagues at all levels – no matter where they are based in the World. You are ambitious and driven to succeed and deliver quality solutions. You like to win. Furthermore, interpreting, understanding and solving complicated problems is second nature to you, as is a systematic approach and a good perspective.

You can easily build relationship with Subject matter Experts of the WDH Wholesale companies in and become their trusted partner.

In the job some travelling is expected, estimated between 30 – 40 days each year.
