Healthy Hearing, www.healthyhearing.com is looking for an experienced customer support or inside sales professional with an AUD of a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist background who is focused, motivated, honest, communicative, creative and fun. The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for optimizing communications with staff from over 3500 hearing clinics who have profiles in our online directory, proactively helping them maximize their opportunity to generate leads.

This is a full-time, telecommute (virtual) position. The individual in this role would work on a small, close-knit virtual team of highly-motivated and talented professionals to grow and manage a US-based hearing health website. The website currently has over 3 million visitors per year.

Responsibilities
  • Research hearing clinics via the internet and write, edit and manage hearing clinic descriptions on the website
  • Establish and maintain long-lasting relationships by providing consistent, exceptional customer service at every opportunity
  • Make outgoing phone calls to customers, working to increase the level of engagement with the website through our services
  • Take incoming phone calls and emails from customers and resolve customers’ questions and concerns positively, working to increase the level of engagement with the website through our services
  • Accurately document all customer interactions in a customer relationship management (CRM) database
  • Other database coordination and marketing support duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications
  • Background in the hearing aid industry working in a hearing clinic.  Audiologist or Licensed Hearing Instrument Dispenser, very strongly preferred. People with work experience in a hearing aid clinic as an audiology assistant or patient care coordinator may be considered. At least two years of proven experience with hearing healthcare preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Communications, Communicative disorders, Audiology or similar)
  • Very strong customer relationship management and computer skills/experience, including Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Skype
  • Reliable high-speed, wired and secure internet access and private, professional home office required (all of our work is conducted via the internet) - company provides laptop and VPN phone

Special Requirements:

  • Company-paid overnight travel may be required up to 3-4 times a year for team and/or project meetings
